We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and message content when you create an account, sign up for email updates, or contact us. We also automatically collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, interactions, approximate location, browser type) via privacy‑friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) and server logs. For signed‑in users, we store your saved carts, price alerts, and feedback to provide the service. We never collect or store your payment card information.
We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service; to personalize your experience; to communicate with you (e.g., waitlist updates, feature announcements); and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Our optional Chrome browser extension runs only on the supported retailer product pages you visit. On those pages it reads the product title and the displayed item price. The product title is sent to our price-comparison API as a search query. The displayed price is used only inside your browser to compare against the results and is not sent. When a badge is shown, the extension also sends an opaque product identifier from the search results to our price-history service to read previously recorded daily prices for that product. No page address, page price, account, name, or email is sent, and the extension requires no account or login. Like any web service, our servers receive standard request information such as your IP address and browser type, which we use to operate and protect the service. The extension does not read other pages, does not track you across sites, and has no tabs, storage, history, bookmarks, or identity permissions. It does not insert or change affiliate links. We use essential cookies for authentication and core functionality. Our analytics (Vercel Analytics) is privacy‑friendly and does not use cookies to track you across other websites. When you click through to a retailer, our affiliate partners (for example, the Amazon Associates Program and retailer affiliate networks such as Impact, CJ, Rakuten, or Sovrn Commerce) may set a cookie so a resulting purchase can be attributed to us — this never changes the price you pay. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share anonymized or aggregated data (which cannot identify you) for business and analytics purposes. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition. We rely on third‑party providers to operate the Service — including Firebase/Google (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), SerpApi and Rainforest API (price data), and affiliate programs and networks such as the Amazon Associates Program, Impact, CJ, Rakuten, and Sovrn Commerce (commission tracking). Each has its own privacy policy.
We retain your personal data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We implement industry‑standard security measures, but no method is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.
